SEOUL, Jan. 12 (Aju News) -- TWICE released an animated music video for "Candy Pop", an original single with Japanese lyrics, after the group spent its most successful season in 2017 in Japan.

The nine-member group dropped its latest Japanese music video through YouTube on Thursday. The clip was watched more than 1.3 million times in less than 24 hours of its release. The music video includes some parts filmed in real life but the main section was created in cartoon-like animation.

TWICE scored its first No.1 spot in Billboard Japan in October 2017 with "One More Time" that became the fastest-selling album of any South Korean girl groups in Japan.
